Thank you for your interest in our RISE for Nutrition 2018-2019 RFA!
We received 219 concept notes from 179 different organizations. Concept notes spanned 16 countries with 21 multi-country projects. Concept notes covered all three phases of ECF’s Pathway to Scale and included a variety of technical areas across nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive approaches, as well as singular and packages of interventions.
Successful proposals will be announced Spring 2019.
RISE 2018 Request for Applications
At the Global Nutrition Summit in Milan in 2017, ECF made its first large financial pledge: to invest $100 million in nutrition by 2030. The RISE for Nutrition annual RFA is a key vehicle through which ECF will fulfill that pledge.
REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS (RFA)
We are pleased to announce our 2018 Request for Applications (RFA) for our RISE (Research, Innovate, Scale, Establish) portfolio. ECF's flagship grant portfolio RISE centers on implementation research on nutrition innovations in East Africa. We are passionate about investing in innovations that have the potential to have a lasting impact. This open call for Concept Notes closed November 25, 2018.

In response to the questions about the RFA we received up until October 31st, 2018, we have compiled answers in the document below. Applicants are strongly encouraged to closely review the RFA Q&A before submitting Concept Notes.
ECF will no longer be able to answer questions about the RFA to potential applicants in the interests of transparency and fairness.
